Monteraponi Chianti Classico DOCG, 2023 mendicino A classic Chinon RougeThis wine is made of 95% Sangiovese and 5% Canaiolo. Fermentation in cement, followed by oak aging for 16 months makes for a floral and minerally expression of Chianti with a comforting note of baking spice. We would pair this with Peposo, a traditional Tuscan black pepper beef stew, braised with Chianti. The Monteraponi estate is located in the village of Radda, situated in the heart of Chianti.
