A rare and important piece of investment quality silver, originally from the Clan Wedderburn, who were a prominent noble Scottish family from the lowlands borders. The urn is Neoclassical in style and dates to the reign of King George III, the tall lid with an urn shaped finial, the lid is finely engraved, with the Clan Wedderburn
