forward wine was the 1985
with sweet tannin
juicy core of plush
but not a great deal of weight or massiveness
Laphroaig Signatory Un-chillfiltered Collection (750ml) Mixed Wines forward wine was the 1985Not quite your typical Laphroaig. While it has a tell tale nose containing lots of smoke, peat, and iodine, it also has a hint of citrus and lemon peel coming through too. Medium weight in the mouth, it has a long finish with some appealing dark mocha notes. Distilled on: 14. 05. 1998 Bottled on: 20. 08. 2012 Cask No.: 700168 Bottles Produced: 428 Abv: 46% Schneider's of Capitol Hill
